Currently, the total accumulatedamount of cash funds in our club’s hands now is RM 2432.40, which is sourcedsolely from our club fee’s and the CCA subsidy. Our club fees are veryreasonable at 60 Ringgit payments due every term. The money will be handledwisely by the board of committee which is elected every May to further improvethe facilities made available to the members of our club.

 

          As of this moment, we are using theinnovative Robotics Dream kit, level 1 which is funded by our membersthemselves as our main resource in building all of our robots. They’ll be givena book with clear instructions to teach them the basics on building essential partsto build a robot. Most of our activities are done in groups of either 5 or 6 tosqueeze most of their wild imagination out of them in order to achieve the bestof achievements for everyone in the club. The robots that the students willeventually create are revolving around the set pieces given. The hardness ofcompleting each piece will gradually increase as the pages edges to the end.The end product will leave the students in awe as it is truly one of it’s kind. (updated 2016)

 

Brief History

 

 

Robotic club is one of the youngestclub as our club has only celebrated its first year in the running. But thatdoesn’t mean our club is premature. Tshung Tsin’s Robotic Club is sailedsteadily by Mr Adrian Chu Su Men of the computer department and our responsibleClub Advisor, Mr Ng Yeong Zheng. Our club has around 24 members and is seeing ahealthy spike increase in numbers as days progressed. As per usual, our clubhas a board of committee led by President Benjamin committed around the clockto supervise and cater to the needs of every members. Our club committee iselected annually by the majority of votes given by members as to ensure no foulplay are used. The election is held every May of the year. Our club recentlyheld it’s first club outing on 14thSeptember2016 and will continue to do so every year after receiving a positive responsefrom the members. (updated 2016)

2. To teach students the theories of Science, Technology,Engineering and Mathematics related to robotics.

3. To develop the students’ skillsin mechanical assembly, design creativity, logical thinking and problemsolving.

4. To teach students the basics of computer programming.

1. Student must be willing to learntheories and also exercise practical skills.

2. Student must be able to work inteam with other peers.

3. Student must be willing to participate in local orinternational competitions in robotics.

2.Members that are going to be late must inform thesecretary; those who are late without reason will be deducted 4 marks.

3. Members that are absent must inform the advisor or instructorso that leaves can be applied. For personal leave, 4 marks will bededucted.  Sick, Funeral, and Official leaves are excluded if leaves areapplied.

4. Members that did not inform the advisor or instructor willnot be allowed to apply for leave and 8 marks will be deducted. 

5. Members who apply for leave must attach letters from parentsand medical statement.

 

6. and trousers stated in the weekly notice unless being informed. 2 Markswill be deducted for members who do not obey.
