《紮根》是2007年为欢庆马来西亚独立50周年而特别策划的人文纪录片系列。这13集人文纪录片系列主要展现马来西亚华人在文化交融，传承与发扬三大领域的演变与成就。摄制队南征北伐，从马来半岛东海岸的吉兰丹河开始拍摄，续而南下穿越槟城、吉隆坡与马六甲三大历史名城，抵达最南端的柔佛新山后，还远赴中国四大侨乡之福建省及广东省，记录一系列华人南来在本土扎根，并跟本土多元文化交融、传承、创新和发扬的动人故事。《紮根》系列里，有马来西亚华人独创的二十四节令鼓的故事、有世界狮王之王带领徒子徒孙回到广东鹤山祭祖的故事、有马六甲峇峇华人和吉兰丹土生华人过农历新年的故事、有东海岸皮影戏大师嫁女儿的故事、有华裔青年参与印度教大宝森节的故事、有全马罕见流传了百年神秘庄严的槟城大伯公请火仪式、更有20万人参与的柔佛古庙众神出游五帮共和的故事。《紮根》

《我来自新村》是于2009年为纪念马来西亚现存450个华人新村成立60周年而特别摄制的13集大型人文纪录片系列。自播出以后，佳评如潮，收视率创下了马来西亚电视史上的新纪录。 《我来自新村》第一季的故事包括了世代生活在九皇爷恩泽下的雪兰莪州安邦新村、经历过日本蝗军血洗村庄的森美兰知知港新村、全国最大华人新村 – 吉隆坡增江新村、盛满福州文化精华的柔佛州永平新村、掀开了风声鹤唳的紧急状态序页的霹雳州连登新村、遭受过英军屠杀数十位百姓的雪兰莪乌鲁音新村等等。今天，依然有超过一百万的马来西亚华人居住在西马半岛现存450个新村里，而离开了新村在各城市谋生的新村儿女更是不计其数。成立于1949年的新村，其实本是英殖民政府为了打击马共而大量产生的集中营，60年来它装载着上百万马来西亚华人无法抹去的情感与经历。走过了一个甲子历史的新村，几乎是半部本土华人生存史。
